Yarn Required: DK Weight Yarn or yarn that knits to specified gauge
Yarn Used As Pictured: 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca Silk (50% Alpaca/50% Silk; 50g/1.76oz, 146yds/133.5m) in #120 White for Main and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins of Blue Sky Alpacas Skinny Dyed Cotton (100% Organic Cotton; 65g/2.29oz, 150yds/137m) in #311 Gardenia for Contrast (the Contrast yarn must be firm enough to hold its shape and not stretch; this is most important for the shoulder straps)
Gauge: 22 sts x 28 rows = 4″/10cm worked in St st using Contrast yarn and US 6 (4mm) Needles
Suggested Needle/Hook Size: US 4 (3.5mm) Needles and a US 6 (4mm) 24″/60cm or Longer Circular Needle
