Carol Bristol Hearth Bowl Pattern
The Hearth Bowl is knit and felted with a slip stitch pattern or in multi-color stripes. Felted measurements are 8″ tall, 44″ circumference, and 10″ diameter opening. These are very sturdy, large felted bowls, perfect storage containers for yarn, toys, and magazines.
The Striped Hearth Bowl requires 765 total yards of Worsted Weight Feltable Wool Yarn (3 strands worked together).
The Hearth Bowl with Slip Stitch Accent requires 600 yards of Worsted Weight Feltable Wool Yarn in a main color and 165 yards in a contrast color.
Suggested needles are US 15 (10mm) 24-29″ Circular Needles. You will need Stitch Markers and a Tapestry Needle.
Felting supplies include a zippered mesh laundry bag or zippered pillow protector, laundry soap, and a washing machine.
