Stitch Diva Crochet Butterfly Wrap Pattern
With its dramatic kimono sleeves and gossamer crochet lace, this robe will flow around your body like the wings of a butterfly. Designed by Stephanie Ryan for Stitch Diva Studios, the design features top-down construction so you can try it on as you go to produce a custom fit. Work it to cardigan length or to robe length to get the look you desire.
Included in this pattern are clear instructions, stitch diagrams and an illustrated tutorial for creating the simply stunning waist ties with thin ribbon or cord. Skill level is intermediate.
Create this incredible design for bust circumference XS (S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X), 29-1/2″ (32-1/2″, 38″, 40-1/2″, 46″, 51-1/2″, 54-1/2″) using 1105 (1342, 1578, 1815, 2052, 2289, 2525) yards of Sport Weight Yarn for the cardi length and 1927 (2217, 2506, 2795, 3084, 3373, 3662) yards for the robe length. (Featured yarns are Needful Yarns Lana Gatto Feeling (cardi length) and Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca Silk (robe length). Suggested crochet hook is a D (3.25 mm) Crochet Hook, and you will need a Tapestery Needle. For the waist ties you will need 7-10 yards of thin ribbon or cord. (Featured waist ties are created with Hanah Silk Satin Cord.)
