Stitch Diva Uncommon Wristlets Pattern

$3.50

This collection of sexy, fitted Uncommon Wristlets in either gauntlet or opera length, provides options for both knitters and crocheters. Gauntlets are the casual alternative for everyday cold-weather wear. Opera-Length Wristlets not only make a statement, they can maximize a wardrobe by transforming a short-sleeved blouse or sweater into functional winter attire. Fit tips appear throughout the pattern to help you attain a sexy fit: Just say “Yes” to functional style and “No” to saggy wristlets! Skill level is Intermediate.

Knitted Wristlets: A perfect accessory for Stitch Diva’s Silken Scabbard (pattern available for purchase separately), these wristlets feature a deftly engineered cable motif for shaping to the sculptural contours of the arm. Knit the Wristlets for sizes S/M (L/XL, 2X/3X), opera length, with 2 (2, 3) skeins of Jade Sapphire 2-Ply Silk/Cashmere (55% Silk/45% Cashmere; 400yds/55g). Knit the gauntlet length with 1 (2, 2) skeins. Suggested needles are US 1 (2.25mm) Double Point Needles or two Circulars (choose your method for working a small circumference circularly), 2 Stitch Markers (in different colors), and a Tapestry Needle.

Hairpin Lace Wristlets: Delicate and lacy, these crochet hairpin lace wristlets feature different edgings for each length – gossamer and demure for the gauntlet, or bold and dramatic for the opera length. Crochet the Hairpin Lace Wristlets for sizes XS/S (S/M, L/XL, 2X, 3X), opera length, with 1 (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins of Jade Sapphire 2-Ply Silk/Cashmere (55% Silk/45% Cashmere; 400yds/55g). Hairpin crochet the gauntlet length with 1 skein. You will need an Adjustable Hairpin Lace Loom, a C-2 (2.75mm) Crochet Hook, 2 Clip-On Markers, 1 yard of thread elastic (optional), and a Tapestry Needle.
