Knit or crochet? Whichever you choose, you can wrap yourself in lacy glamour. These beautiful designs feature organic forms and basic construction techniques for knitting and hairpin lace. Skill level is Intermediate.

Terra (Knit): Inspired by a Victorian lace doily, this classic circular shawl works up quickly in the round, beginning at the center and proceeding organically to the outer edge. Finished size is approximately 46″ in diameter once blocked. As featured, Terra is created with 1 skein each of Tilli Tomas Disco Lights in Moss, Olive and Parchment with Chocolate Chip, Tilli Tomas Plie in Rattan, Tilli Tomas Rock Star in Burnt Olive and Parchment, and Tilli Tomas Fil de la Mer in Forest and Olive. What an incredible array of Tilli Tomas luxury! Suggested needles are US 7 (4.5mm) Double Points, 2 Circulars or 1 Circular 40″ or Longer and US 7 (4.5mm) and 8 (5mm) 24″ Circular Needles. You will also need Stitch Markers, a Tapestry Needle, Blocking Pins and a Shawl Pin (optional).

Vapor (Hairpin Lace): One long hairpin lace strip is joined to itself to create a dramatic stole reminiscent of smoke wisps or celestial formations. Vapor requires only beginning crochet and hairpin lace skills. Finished size is approximately 25″ W X 69″ L. As featured, Vapor is created with 7 skeins of Tilli Tomas Plie in Atmosphere and 1 skein of Tilli Tomas Disco Lights in Dusty Purple. Suggested crochet hooks are H-8 (5mm) and G-6 (4mm) Crochet Hooks. You will also need Clip-on Markers, a Hairpin Lace Loom and a Tapestry Needle.
